Childline India Foundation

CHILDLINE 1098 is a phone number that spells hope for millions of children across India. It is a 24-hour a day, 365 days a year, free, emergency phone service for children in need of aid and assistance.<br>
CHILDLINE India Foundation (CIF) is the nodal agency of the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development acting as the parent organisation for setting up, managing and monitoring the CHILDLINE 1098 service all over the country. CIF is the sole agency/body responsible for establishing the CHILDLINE service across the country, monitoring of service delivery and finance, training, research and documentation, creating awareness, advocacy as well as resource generation for the service.

Assistance MĂ©dicale Toit du Monde (AMTM)

Assistance Médicale Toit du Monde (AMTM) helps communities in India and Nepal by deploying its action along three axes: health and medical actions, development and sponsorship. These three axes are complementary and synergistic: a person in good health, living in acceptable conditions and having access to education has a greater chance of having a better life.

Glenn Family Foundation

The Glenn Family Foundation was formed in the 1980's by entrepreneur and renowned philanthropist, Sir Owen G. Glenn. The Foundation supports charities, institutions and individuals around the globe in the upliftment of communities and alleviation of suffering. The philosophy of its founder is in offering a hand up, not a hand out, and in so building communities that are empowered, self-sustaining and proud.

Private Foundation ADA for the Development of the Adivasi

The 'Private Foundation ADA for the Development of the Adivasi' is the result of the evolution of the 'ADA Association for the Development of the Adivasi', a non-profit, non-confessional and non-political organization created in 2001 in Barcelona to work for the promotion and development of the Adivasi in India.<br>
The main aim is to provide the adivasi with life conditions that favour their complete dignified human development.

MIVA Austria

MIVA Austria is a relief organisation of the Catholic Church. The name arises from "Missionary Vehicle Association". Since its foundation MIVA has served the Catholic mission and supports the fight against poverty and underdevelopment.

Caritas India

Caritas India, founded in 1962, is the official development arm (registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI 1860 (the Punjab Amendment Act 1957) of the Catholic Churches in India. The word Caritas originates from Latin, which means, Love in Action. The name connotes the efforts to bring Compassion and Love to Humanity. Caritas India is a member of Caritas confederation of more than 160 member organizations working in nearly 200 countries, making it the second largest humanitarian network in the world.

DKA Austria

DKA Austria is the development cooperation agency of Katholische Jungschar- the Catholic Children’s Movement in Austria.   Every year, children dress up as the Three Wise Men and go from house to house after Christmas spreading the message of the gospel. The donations collected by the Carol Singer are used to support people committed to a fairer world for all human beings. Together with partner organisations, DKA Austria strives for a decent life, free from exploitation and poverty, for all people.

Every child has the right to grow up in a safe and inclusive environment

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Child (UNCRC) defines a child as any human being under the age of eighteen, unless the age of majority is attained earlier under a nation's own legislation. The Government of India ratified the UNCRC in 1992.
The UNCRC outlines the fundamental human rights that should be afforded to children in four broad classifications that suitably cover all civil, political, social, economic and cultural rights of every child:
