On the occasion of International Child Rights Day, November 20, BSA CCI for Girls has been awarded for the best performance on Child Care & Protection, NGO run- Child Care Institute 2020 in West Bengal by West Bengal Commission for Protection of Child Rights. A citation with Certificate and a cash award of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) was received from Department of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare at Rabindra Sadan, Kolkata.

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Child (UNCRC) defines a child as any human being under the age of eighteen, unless the age of majority is attained earlier under a nation's own legislation. The Government of India ratified the UNCRC in 1992.
